The residents committee would like to remind apartment owners to review the house rules “STOCKING WOOD – House Rules” link below. It is a breach of house rules to hang clothes on the balconies which has become more of a common activity in recent weeks. The management company will follow up with non compliant residents.

JS Property Management (JSPM) has closed down
We would like to confirm that J&S Property Management have closed down their property management service for Block Management Companies although, from what we can gather, they have not closed the company. This has caused us a lot of inconvenience as they have closed the phone lines and email addresses.
Allied are staying at the same address for a couple of months but will be moving to new premises in March. Two new senior property managers will be joining Allied, one specialising in Residential, Commercial and Industrial Management and the other in Property Sales and lettings.
We are hoping that the J&S Directors will transfer the Blockman software to Allied otherwise they will have to manually upload the information again.
In the meantime please use this email address for any property management queries:

Transferring the phone line back to Allied is proving more difficult as their supplier wants a letter from the J&S Directors. We hope this will be completed by early next week. Alternatively Allied will just get another line.

Update on Neighbouring Lands & Drainage issue
The development land next to our estate were the proposed amenity centre is due to be built has been sold to the property company ‘Ardstone Capital’. They plan to develop a commercial amenity centre and the remaining residential units along Stocking Avenue. This is good news as finally we will have some local shops, amenities and the remaining lands will be developed on for residential housing. Although the original planning has expired and the new planning application has not been submitted to the council as yet, we have heard that they plan to start around June period. This maybe optimistic but let’s see.
The committee have been aware of excessive water leaking out from the ground onto Stocking Avenue at the pedestrian exit near the Copse. In tandem with our agent, we have been working on this topic over the past few days. The Council have confirmed that the flooded area will be drained by them on Monday, weather permitting. The issue lies in the field next to the southern part of the estate.
